Animal Daycare & Boarding Staff
We are a veterinary hospital on east side of Denver who is looking for the right person to join our animal lodge facility as a Daycare & Boarding Assistant for dogs and cats. We are seeking a full time position. Our faculty is open 24/7; working holidays will be a requirement of this position, as well as weekends. We offer 401K, medical, dental, life insurance and vacation.
Responsibilities of the job would include cleaning kennels, feeding, walking, and bathing of animals, along with playing and behavior management of animals in daycare.
REQUIREMENTS
q Basic understanding of dog behavior, some veterinary medical understanding a plus
q Strong organizational skills
q Excellent client relations and interpersonal skills
q Basic computer skills
q Good oral and written communication skills
q Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
q Self starter and team player
q Flexible with work schedule
q 1+ years of animal care experience is preferred
