Client Care Specialist / Veterinary Receptionist
Friendship Hospital for Animals is a twenty-four hour, AAHA certified in excellence hospital in Northwest, Washington, DC treating dogs and cats. We offer primary, specialty and emergency/critical care. We have thirty doctors on staff including specialists in internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, cardiology and oncology. A Client Care Specialist's duties include:
-Checking in /Checking out clients coming in for appointments, urgent cares, multi-task with strong organizational skills
-Scheduling appointments and procedures
-Giving basic medical and pet care advice, knowledge of veterinary terminology(helpful, not required)
-Telephone triage of emergencies
-Filling prescriptions
-Mixing and flavoring prescriptions
-Being the link between our clients and our staff with a friendly, warm, mature, and professional demeanor
As a Client Care Specialist, you will be intensively trained on pet health.
The ideal candidate for this position must be able to work independently with little supervision, multi-task, and pay close attention to detail.
Job location is Tenleytown, DC
Compensation: $11.50/hr-$12.50/hr, DOE
Shifts Available:
Tuesday thru Saturday - 2:00pm-10:00pm
Monday thru Friday - 2:00pm-10:00pm
Friday thru Tuesday - 7am-3pm
