Veterinary Assistant

Dr. Sandy's Home Veterinary Care is seeking a qualified individual to assist Dr. Sandy, a board certified internist, with her highly successful mobile veterinary practice. We are located in the West San Fernando Valley. Individual will be responsible to help hold patients, assist with treatments, prepare medications, maintain the practice vehicle, inventory control and other related duties. We are a unique practice that provides in home veterinary care, as well as traditional and non-traditional (acupuncture, etc) veterinary medicine. This is an awesome opportunity for someone who loves to work with animals, be on the road and not stuck in an office, but wishes to work in a high quality veterinary environment. Previous veterinary experience preferred. Average hours 20-30 a week, long days, but short weeks, must be willing to work Saturdays. Position starts at $10.00 an hour, excellent working environment.
