Regional waste services company needs TWO Recycling Center Plant Managers for their Fort Lauderdale, FL area operations. These positions each oversee and direct the facility as well as 40-60 employees at each facility.
BASIC FUNCTION
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of 40-60 personnel engaged in the loading, unloading and handling of construction and demolition debris and performance of related assignments.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
? Supervising and motivating the labor.
? Forecasting necessary labor levels based on tons and diversion percentages
? Working with other personnel to meet the company goals
? Maximize the profitability of the facility
Qualified Candidates MUST possess:
? Proven management and organizational skills
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
? Strong working knowledge of safety (OSHA) programs, equipment specifications,
human and labor relations
? PC literate and comfortable with Windows Office Suite
? Some working knowledge of the Solid Waste Industry is a plus
? Bilingual English and Spanish is ideal.
Compensation:
$50-60K per year (DOE) PLUS possible performance based bonus (20% is target).
