A Regional Solid Waste company is seeking a strong Maintenance Manager with experience with heavy equipment and the waste industry. The operation has a fleet of 160 vehicles spraec across three yards. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance program in an efficient, safe and proper manner by providing leadership and coordinating and directing employee activities engaged in servicing and repairing equipment and vehicles. Additional Responsibilites include:Recruit interview, hire and train all shop personnel. Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures and all applicable federal, state and local laws. Evaluate shop personnel and discipline when necessary. Address all complaints and resolve problems as they arise. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.Experience managing a large fleet is required; waste industry or related industry experience helpful.
