District Fleet Maintenance Manager (Memphis, TN)  JOB3489

Waste services company has a need for a highly experienced District Fleet Maintenance Manager for Memphis, TN. This District Fleet Maintenance Manager position is responsible for approximately 11 employees and 75 trucks. 

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

?  At least 5 years of heavy-duty truck fleet maintenance experience

?  Technical knowledge and diagnostic ability in diesel repairs and hydraulics is essential

?  At least 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience

?  Strong leadership and training skills

?  Valid drivers license

?  Excellent administrator, good with numbers and have great people skills.

?  Qualified candidates MUST have a high school diploma (or GED)

 

Preferred, but not required:

?  Solid Waste Hauling Company experience

?  Commercial drivers license

?  ASE certification

 

Duties will include but are not limited to:

 

?  Planning: staffing, training, action plans, budgets, activities, asset acquisition and utilization and disposition of assets

?  Leadership:  initiatives, programs, safety, compliance, and professionalism

?  Implementation: profitability, operations, cost reduction, company goals and objectives

?  Monitoring: tracking, feedback, performance, corrective actions plans, cost reduction objectives, personnel, compliance and safety

Salary:

Base salary of approx. $55-65K/year (DOE) + approx. 15% possible performance bonus + possible stock option grant.
