Environmental Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of Operations Coordinator at our facility in Detroit, MI. 

 

Typical responsibilities will include:

? Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics of waste transfer loads

? Create all paperwork and documentation as it relates to outbound shipments

? Maintain transfer related records in accordance with 40 CFR and 49 CFR requirements

? Review incoming shipping documentation for accuracy

? Assist in the setup and maintenance of outbound approvals for various TSDFs

? Provide support for inbound Logistics Coordinator

? Coordinate supply orders and maintenance needs with Operations Manager

? Perform daily site inspections and maintain inspection log

? Prepare and submit reports to Vice-President of Operations

? Work closely with receiving departments of internal EQ facilities to ensure timely delivery of waste transfer loads

? Timely submittal of Transfer & Processing receipts for billing

? Research and generate waste statistics for reports to Technical Manager

? Maintain 10-day transfer log

? Other duties as assigned by Manager

 

Required qualifications:

? Bachelor?s degree in environmental or related field

? 2-4 years experience in the environmental industry

? Strong knowledge of DOT and RCRA regulations

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills

? Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
