Local Truck Driver

 

Midwest Environmental Services, Inc. is actively seeking to fill positions for Truck Drivers at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility.

 

Our fleet includes straight trucks, tractor-trailers, vacuum tankers, and vacuum trucks (Super Suckers, King Vacs, and Cusco Turbo-Vacs).

 



 

A successful canidate will have:

 Current and valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL)Hazardous Materials and Tanker Endorsments3 years commercial driving experienceClean driving recordBe drug free and willing to participate in random drug/alcohol testing per DOT regulations

 

Job Responsibilities:

 Pick up, secure, manifest and haul waste in a safe mannerMaintain DOT logs daily and comply with all other required DOT procedures/regulationsConduct Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections on tractor and trailer in compliance with DOT regulations

 

Pysical Demands:

 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regulary required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push/pull, or balance weight for extended periods of time. The employee must frequently lift, move, and/or carry up to a maximum of 75 pounds by hand. Regularly drive a truck and must be able to enter and exit the truck throughout the day and use dolly type equipment to deliver and pick up products.

 

Work Environment:

 While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near mechanical equipment. Drives throughout assigned routes in all kinds of weather and road conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
