BS, Civil Engineering
License/Registration:
PE in Oregon
Experience:
12 years experience in the solid waste industry in the west, especially in the Pacific Northwest, at least 10 years of which are managing projects and/or project teams.
Specific knowledge and experience in the following areas:
-Transfer station design
-Landfill design
-Material recycling facility design
-Solid waste management plans
-Financial analysis and rate studies
-Alternative solid waste technologies
-Solid waste material processing facilities
Ability to lead teams and create synergies with other teams.
Proven analytical and decision-making skills.
Ability to market, win and manage large, multi-disciplinary projects within scope and budget constraints.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Job Description :
Will serve as a project engineer and/or project manager on solid waste engineering and planning projects.
Will supervise staff members and coach direct reports on technical skills, project management and marketing.
Will develop relationships with clients, track leads, manage production of proposals and the delivery of proposal presentations, and bring in sufficient new work to support group.
